We are an ad hoc committee of Earthlings who have been dismayed by the inability, or refusal, of our various states to address the existential threats facing our species, and perhaps life itself.
We have resolved to call on the one institution recognized in international law as speaking for the people of all the Earth to bring forth science-based resolutions aimed at the restoration of the health of the only home we have ever known, or ever will know. In the name of our posterity, we demand that the requisite steps be identified and taken forthwith.
